As a sneakerhead I was a little shocked to see that recently Nike Sportswear teamed up with Lance Armstrong to put forth a LIVESTRONG “Stages” Collection to mark his comeback and his attempt at an unprecedented 8th Tour de France victory. Included in this collection are pretty ridiculously fresh sneaks, ranging from Dunks and Air Maxes to Air Force Ones and training shoes. Although the concept of Lance Armstrong + streetwear sounds a little off at first, once you take a glimpse at the collection you’ll see the designs are actually pretty fresh…

So it’s approaching 1 AM eastern time down here in Btown and I just happened to be on the web doing my usually circuit of surfing through the fashion blogs and sites when I remembered a brand that Matt Fields from DOPE COUTURE hyped to me and a couple of my guys just the other day…ONLY NY.  So, I run the name through Google ’til I eventually find the site and I was not let down.  Reppin’ some pretty simplistic, yet fresh designs it definitely sparked my interest…check it out for yourself.  Yay or nay?
